First of all please let me apologise for it being so long since my last blog! so much has gone on.
First of all I put my back out and I still don’t know how, all I know is that it is painful and that I am on quite heavy duty painkillers but they are allowing me to continue to work, yippee.
Well really other than my back it is good news all the way, I have found out that I have won on the regional places in the Make your Mark competition run by The Mall – Luton. So from the 15th March for a consecutive 14 days all my products will be on one of the Malls barrows outside HMV and Clinton Cards in what was called the Arndale, Luton so please come and see me and support me in the hope that I have a chance to win the National competiton which is to win 6 months FREE trading, so very exciting times ahead.
We have also managed to get a pitch on St Albans Farmers’ Market from this month on, so that will be brilliant – well I hope.
We have had confirmation that our products will be on sale in the Gift Shop of Woburn Abbey this season, and that they planted raspberries last autumn so that I will be able to make them Woburn Abbey Raspberry Jam, how exciting is that.
This Monday just gone was International Womans Day and I atttended the most fabulous event at Flitwick Manor Hotel. We had a speaker about self confidence on the inside and one about what you wear affects your confidence as well so when I left I really felt on top of the world, not artifically inflated but really inspired by what had been said and by the lovely people who were there, I would like to thank Mums the Boss Owners Sam & Helen who organised the event. I good friend of mine has just – yesterday 9th March – opened a lovely wet fish shop in Ampthill, call The Ampthill Fish Company, if you like great standard fish them do pay him a visit as his products are great and only the best.
Also just a little insight into me, I have managed to lose 1 stone and 4lb, all by accident because of the tablets that I am on but as my mum says you have to look for the silver linings in life.
